No, all the data you enter in the app is exclusively stored on your cellphone or computer device. We do not collect, store, or maintain your data.
The app allows you to export your data into an Excel or CSV file. We strongly recommend that you occasionally export your data and save it in a secure place for tax purposes.
The app allows you to capture or upload copies of your receipts. The app also uses optical character recognition (OCR) technology to read receipts; however, when you scan a receipt, we recommend that you review the data for accuracy.
Since we do not collect or maintain your data, the receipts are saved locally on your cellphone. If iCloud Sync is enabled for backup, receipts are also saved in your iCloud account to make restoring your app data seamless.
Yes, in the Settings menu, there is an option titled “Receipt Photos” where you can export your receipts by tax year. The export file includes a picture of the receipt tagged with the expense category and date.
No, receipt photos and expenses will not auto-delete. Please question seven (7) for more information about how to recover deleted entries.
Yes, you have 30 days to recover any deleted entries. To do so, in the Settings menu, select the “Recently Deleted” options, and restore your desired entry.

No! We do not collect, share, or maintain your data. All your information is locally stored on your device or your icloud account, if you enable the feature. Therefore, the app does NOT share your information with anyone or any organizations.
No, this app will not create or auto-populate your schedule E. The app serves a convenient tool to record your expenses throughout the year to facilitate easy completion of your tax return. Your exported Excel or CSV file can be filtered and sorted by property and expense category.
Since we do not store or maintain your data, we strongly recommend that you enable your icloud sync and/or occasionally export and save your data in a secure place. If your icloud is synced, similar to other apps, your data is backed-up in your iCloud account.
Yes; however, while your subscription is inactive, you will not be able to add tax years, properties, or expenses in the app. Also, the export features will not be available while your subscription is inactive.
No, your expense export only includes your expenses. Given the size of pictures, you must separately export a zip file of the receipts by navigating to the Settings menu, selecting “Receipt Photos”, and export a zip file of your receipts by tax year. The zip file will include images of your receipts tagged with the expense category and date.
